The Port Authority of Valencia has once again obtained the PERS (Port Environmental Review System) certification awarded by the European Sea Ports Organisation.
It includes a review in 2025 and a joint proposal for Valenciaport and for the ports of Valencia, Sagunto and Gandia which considers their singularities.
The Valenciaport booths record 8 elements of different gases and particles to analyse air quality, compared to other facilities that only collect particles and meteorological data
This initiative maintains synergies of collaboration with the International Association of Ports and Terminals (IAPH) and brings together 12 of the most important ports in the world
Valenciaport has managed in the last twelve months 5,044,270 TEUs -a unit equivalent to boxes of 6.1 meters-, a figure that is 4.78% higher than the obtained in the same period of 2017.
Valenciaport, one of the largest ports in Europe by volume, and the Port of Montreal, Eastern Canada’s largest container port, have joined Maersk and IBM’s TradeLens project
