Shearwater is using its Isometrix single-sensor multicomponent streamer technology for site characterisation for the first time, conducting two 3D seismic surveys on the Norwegian Continental Shelf
Fugro has commenced a detailed pre-construction survey – including locating potential unexploded ordnance. Survey results to help define the final cable routes and turbine locations.
At the same time, the Danish Energy Agency has narrowed down the site for the wind farm from 440 km2 to 286 km2 as a result of the site-investigations.
