Fincantieri has signed a €317 million contract amendment with OCCAR to expand the U212 NFS submarine programme

The refit works for the three patrol vessels will be carried out at Damen facilities in the Netherlands

Five of the 24 vessels are destined for overseas deployment in French Guiana, Mayotte and New Caledonia.
