Maersk Drilling has been awarded a contract from Spirit Energy for the harsh-environment jack-up rig Maersk Resolve to drill one development well at Grove North East in the UK North Sea.
As pressure to achieve IMO regulations increases, and the UK set to become a giant in the offshore sector, the partnership provides easier access to more sustainable solutions for UK customers.
The partnership will identify potential sites for both mWave energy projects and combined wind and mWave energy projects in Japan and the neighbouring regions.
