Brittany Ferries’ Guillaume de Normandie became the first cross-Channel ferry to leave the UK using electricity supplied from the quayside after connecting to Portsmouth International Port’s new shore power system.
The ‘LNGHIVE2: Infrastructure and Logistics Solutions’ project, coordinated by Spanish energy company Enagás, has been selected by the European Commission CEF for funding.
