On the night of April 30, the Ukrainian Navy hit two Russian boats that were guarding the Kerch Bridge.
The Navy’s press service reported this on social media in the morning.
According to the released video, the strike was carried out using domestically produced unmanned surface vessels (naval drones).
As a result of the attack, an FSB patrol boat of the Sobol-class and a Grachonok anti-sabotage boat were hit.
In addition to the damage to the vessels, the enemy also suffered crew casualties – there were both killed and wounded.
The Ukrainian Navy noted that these boats are key units of the FSB Border Guard Coast Guard and the Russian fleet.
They were responsible for securing the waters around the illegally constructed bridge linking temporarily occupied Crimea with Russia.
On 21 April and on the night of 21-22 April, Ukraine’s defence forces carried out strikes against a Russian naval vessel traffic centre for the Black Sea Fleet and other Russian assets.
Prior to that, CyberBoroshno, a Ukrainian OSINT community, stated that an analysis of operations by the Security Service of Ukraine’s Special Operations Centre Alpha (17-18 April) and Defence Intelligence of Ukraine’s special unit Prymary (18-19 April) in Sevastopol Bay had confirmed strikes on five ships belonging to Russia’s Black Sea Fleet.
