In the Black Sea waters within the Odesa district, oily slicks have been recorded on the water's surface due to oil entering the sea as a result of a Russian attack.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces targeted a maritime oil terminal responsible for transshipping products from the Tuapse Oil Refinery, as well as an oil tanker moored at the facility.
The port of Tuapse is one of the main facilities for oil exports from southern Russia. Damage there could disrupt supply logistics and increase risks for maritime transport in the region.
This was the second Russian provocation on September 19th, after three Russian MiG-31 interceptors entered Estonian airspace without permission in the morning near Vaindloo Island and remained there for almost 12 minutes.
