Huge opportunities exist for talented jobseekers to join the UK’s expanding offshore renewable energy sector as it works to achieve the UK’s Clean Power target to deploy 43-50 GW of offshore wind by 2030.
Twenty-one of the awards are located in the North Sea, ten in the Norwegian Sea, and four in the Barents Sea, 17 of the licences with Equinor as an operator.
Equinor and Shell have completed a deal to combine their UK offshore oil and gas operations to form a new company. Adura will be the UK North Sea’s largest independent producer.
