Damen Naval announces the signing of a contract with Nevesbu for the platform engineering scope of the Plataforma Estratégica de Superficie (PES) frigate for Colombia.
The delivery of the fourth Multipurpose Combat ship (PPA) “Giovanni delle Bande Nere” has taken place at Fincantieri’s shipyard in Muggiano (La Spezia).
The frigates are equipped with weapon and mission systems to monitor and control sea areas, protect naval bases and attack surface, underwater, land and air targets.
Damen Shipyards Group has unveiled a new ship design based on modern defence and security requirements. The Multi-Purpose Support Ship (MPSS) has been co-developed with the Portuguese Navy, the vessel’s launching customer.
