A global group of leading companies with a common interest in developing nuclear energy solutions for the maritime sector have announced the formation of Nuclear Energy Maritime Organization (NEMO).
Selection will help advance Ørsted’s e-methanol facility in Texas, decarbonize hard-to-electrify maritime sector, and create U.S. clean energy jobs in new industry
The three companies will conduct a comprehensive analysis and evaluation of the most sustainable alternatives to support the maritime decarbonisation pathway.
The aim of the collaboration is to further construct fascine mattresses, that play an important role in maintaining embankment stability, preventing land degradation and protecting waterways from erosion.
