Pacifico Energy Korea has signed a memorandum of understanding with EEW KHPC, KMC Line and CS Energy to support the development of a local supply chain for the 3.2 GW Jindo Offshore Wind Project Cluster in South Korea.

With a 435-metre quay and a minimum water depth of 10.3 metres, the Port of Oskarshamn is ideally suited to accommodate all relevant vessels and facilitate efficient ship-to-ship cable transfers.

The contract covers the engineering, procurement, construction and installation of a floating production, storage and offloading unit for the Kutei North Hub Field Development Facility

The agreement is intended to support a series of strategic subsea transmission projects, including the proposed Shetland 2 HVDC link.
