To enable Europa Terminal to handle the largest container vessels, Port of Antwerp is planning to deepen the quay wall of this terminal in dialogue with PSA Antwerp, the operator of the terminal.
One crane weighs approximately 1600 tons. All Port of Oakland container cranes are powered by electricity, so there are zero local emissions from routine crane operations.
The cruise terminal is to be developed at the Columbusinsel site in Bremerhaven and there are also plans to build a new multipurpose reception building.
