Höegh Evi has signed a 10-year time charter agreement with Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS) for the deployment of Hoegh Gandria as a floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) in Egypt.
Höegh Evi has officially transferred ownership of the floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) Independence to KN Energies and the country of Lithuania.

Moldova will during the first two days of April receive US natural gas supplies via Gastrade’s FSRU-based LNG import terminal off Greece’s Alexandroupolis, according to Moldova’s state-owned energy firm Energocom.
To expedite the process, monopiles are used as the foundation for the jetty. Van Oord is installing a total of 10 monopiles, including scour protection.
Following conversion, the FSRU Alexandroupoli will serve as an offshore storage and regasification facility and will be part of the Alexandroupolis Independent Natural Gas System (INGS).
