GTT Marine, a division of the GTT Group, has signed an agreement with PETRONAS to deploy its integrated digital vessel performance platform across the energy company’s chartered LNG carrier fleet. The collaboration may also be extended to future additions to the PETRONAS-chartered fleet.
The digital package combines data acquisition, vessel performance analytics, voyage optimisation and cargo monitoring into a single platform to support more efficient fleet operations.
Under the agreement, GTT Marine will collect and analyse operational data using both noon reports and high-frequency sensor inputs. The information will be processed through the company’s Vesper Insights platform, providing crews and shore-based teams with data-driven recommendations to improve vessel performance and support maintenance planning.
The project also includes voyage optimisation tools that combine weather forecasting, vessel performance models and digital twin technology with 24/7 support from GTT Marine’s Fleet Centre. These capabilities are designed to help optimise routes, reduce fuel consumption and lower emissions.
In addition, cargo management monitoring solutions will enhance visibility into cargo operations and related vessel performance.
According to GTT Marine, the agreement reflects the company’s strategy of integrating the technologies and expertise of Danelec, Ascenz Marorka and Vessel Performance Solutions into a unified digital offering for the maritime industry.
