The CMA CGM Group has signed a binding agreement to acquire GCT Bayonne and New York terminals, currently held by Global Container Terminals Inc (GCT).
The new container terminal will be in the inland waters of the breakwater of the northern extension of the Port of Valencia, work on which was completed in 2012
Once completed, CMA Terminals Khalifa Port will have an initial capacity of 1.8 million TEUs, and will significantly enhance Khalifa Port's connectivity and position as a key gateway for the region.
