Pacifico Energy Korea has signed a memorandum of understanding with EEW KHPC, KMC Line and CS Energy to support the development of a local supply chain for the 3.2 GW Jindo Offshore Wind Project Cluster in South Korea.
With a 435-metre quay and a minimum water depth of 10.3 metres, the Port of Oskarshamn is ideally suited to accommodate all relevant vessels and facilitate efficient ship-to-ship cable transfers.
The vessel will join the existing fleet being operated by United Global Ro-Ro and will be deployed mostly on routes within the Middle East, Asia and the Mediterranean
The new line will also provide for the transportation of oversized and / or heavy cargo, which is not always possible with Ro-Pax ferries serving lines in other ports of Latvia and neighboring countries.
