GeoSea, DEME’s specialist in complex offshore marine engineering projects, has been awarded a contract for the transportation and installation of 94 foundations at Ørsted’s Borssele 1 & 2 offshore wind farm in the Netherlands.
Ørsted has entered into an agreement with the D.E. Shaw Group to acquire a 100 percent equity interest in Rhode Island-based Deepwater Wind at a purchase price of $510 million.
