Van Oord’s heavy lift installation vessel Svanen has successfully installed the first monopile at the Baltic Power offshore wind farm, located 23 kilometres north of the Polish coast.
The vessel is an electric Commissioning Service Operation Vessel (eCSOV) that will be constructed by Armon shipyard in Spain for the UK-based shipowner Bibby Marine Ltd.
This includes thousands of electronic navigational charts covering 153,000 kilometres of shoreline and 3.6 million square nautical miles of ocean, coastal, and Great Lakes waters
