The European Commission has approved Siemens Project Ventures plan to take sole control of the 402MW Veja Mate offshore wind farm in the German North Sea.
According to the Commission the acquisition would raise no competition concerns given that Siemens already jointly controlled the project prior to the deal.
The project's shareholders are Highland Group, Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners and Siemens Financial Services.
Veja Mate features 67 Siemens Gamesa 6MW turbines and has been operational since 2017.
