Pacifico Energy Korea has signed a memorandum of understanding with EEW KHPC, KMC Line and CS Energy to support the development of a local supply chain for the 3.2 GW Jindo Offshore Wind Project Cluster in South Korea.
With a 435-metre quay and a minimum water depth of 10.3 metres, the Port of Oskarshamn is ideally suited to accommodate all relevant vessels and facilitate efficient ship-to-ship cable transfers.
The offshore installation vessel Les Alizés has already begun installing the 107 monopile foundations, including one for the Offshore Substation (OSS).
Jumbo’s scope of work included transport and installation of 14 suction piles (part of a 14-point FPSO mooring system), a tie-in manifold and a 24 inch deepwater gas sales spool.
