TotalEnergies Marine Fuels has carried out its first marine bio-VLSFO (Very Low Sulfur Fuel Oil) bunker delivery in Singapore’s port waters, as part of a biofuel trial recently completed by NYK Line and Anglo American.
A trial voyage using biofuel for the CBH Group, the largest agricultural co-operative in Western Australia, is being performed on the Edwine Oldendorff from Australia to Vietnam.
The Maersk Supply Service vessel “Maersk Tender” has completed a test with The Ocean Cleanup to mix biofuel into marine oil to reduce CO2 emissions. The test results are very promising.
