Three new Damen search and rescue vessels have been handed over to Jawar al Khaleej (JAK) in a ceremony held on 23 September at Albwardy Damen in Sharjah, within five months after the contract was signed.
The launch of "Star Princess," the second LNG (liquefied natural gas) cruise ship that Fincantieri is building for Princess Cruises, took place today at the Monfalcone shipyard.
All vessels are built in Italy by Fincantieri, with a total MSC investment exceeding 3.5 billion euros, of which around 500 million euros was allocated for EXPLORA II.
The E-Pusher, model M, will be deployed in combination with barges provided by Jansma Shipping to establish an emission-free sand transport chain between the Maasvlakte and Rotterdam.
