During the dry-docking, in addition to several regular technical maintenance works and upgrades, the vessel’s will have an extensive facelift of the main passenger areas which will receive a brand new and modern interior design.
As first announced in April 2024, the new units will represent the pinnacle of the Norwegian Cruise Line fleet and will be the largest ever built for this brand
Finnish operator Viking Line’s 2008-built ro-pax ‘Viking XPRS’ has undergone a complete refit and is shortly to resume service on the Helsinki–Tallinn route.
With this new order, Meyer Werft has contracted 10 cruise ships, a research vessel and four offshore converter platforms, which will be delivered until 2031.
