To support the service expansion, Finnlines is also introducing brand-new 80-foot mafis with embedded rails, specifically designed to facilitate the transportation of non-standard cargo.
Starting in September, Finnlines will launch a new freight service from Finland to London Medway, with further connections available to Belgium, Spain, and Ireland.
Finnlines expands its route network and starts to operate with its freight-passenger ship Finnfellow on the route between Malmö, Sweden, and Świnoujście, Poland, on 10 April.
The Finnish logistics company is strengthening operations with an additional order. The order was received in June 2022 and will be delivered in the first half of 2023.
