A near miss incident from dropped object was reported onboard the ‘Noble Regina Allen’ jack-up rig, offshore Nova Scotia, when a 52 foot chain fell onboard on 5 November.
According to EMSA data, the last seven years, 3,236 Ro-Ro accidents were reported out of which 25% are fire related, 19% collisions and 16% are attributed to loss of control.
