On 30th April 2020, Meridian Port Services Limited successfully completed the entire Phase 1 works of the Tema Port Expansion Project (also known as Terminal 3 of Tema Port).
The new 4G LTE connectivity solution was best suited to the terminal due to its ability to meet coverage and performance requirements with bigger cell size and limited infrastructure deployment at terminal.
KN (AB Klaipėdos nafta), the operator of oil and liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminals, is launching an annual procedure - allocation of LNG terminal capacity for the new gas year, which starts in October 1, 2020.
The new yard is positioned near the Port of Wilmington Cold Storage. The location consolidates all refrigerated cargo into one area which helps enhance the port’s efficiency when moving perishable goods.
