German shipyard Meyer Werft informed that it will delay the delivery of AIDAnova, the world’s first LNG fueled cruise ship. Before this announcement, AIDA Cruises was planned to receive the cruise ship on November 15, in Bremerhaven.
The technology group Wärtsilä’s 31DF dual-fuel engine, which emphasises outstanding efficiency, extremely economical fuel consumption, and minimal emissions.
On October 8, AIDA Cruises’ newest ship AIDAnova departed the Meyer shipyard in Papenburg, Germany. The ship will now be transferred on the river Ems to Eemshaven, Netherlands.
