First steel cut for Terntank's two LNG/LBG-powered biofuel tankers with hybrid battery systems took place at the China Merchants Jinling shipyard on Tuesday, 30 June.
The test will be carried out in collaboration with ESL Shipping and Gasum. This is the first time that biogas will be used as fuel for ships in Finland.
