Five developers including a number of joint ventures have signalled their intent to take part in New York’s debut offshore wind solicitation for around 800MW of capacity.
Portuguese renewables company EDP Renewables (EDPR) has inaugurated the Muxía Wind Farm in the homonymous municipality, in the Autonomous Spanish Region of Galicia.
EDPR has signed a contract with the Port of Cromarty Firth to use the Scottish facility as a pre-assembly base during construction of the 950MW Moray East offshore wind farm.
