KPI OceanConnect has collaborated with Titan Clean Fuels, and SFL to successfully complete the company's first LNG bunkering operation for the newly built car carrier, the Emden, taking place in the Port of Emden.
Through this cooperation, several companies and organisations will come together to discuss and study safety issues during ammonia bunkering of a container carrier that uses ammonia as a bunker fuel.
NYK and TBG will significantly enhance the safety of supplying ammonia, which is highly toxic, to ships by employing TBG's technology to ensure that the liquid does not leak.
