The new BV-classed vessels, WINDEA Intrepid and WINDEA Courageous, are the largest newbuild CTVs delivered to the offshore wind industry in the US to date.
In a competitive tender process that attracted many international bidders, Damen Shipyards has won the contract to build and supply four, fully electric, passenger car ferries for BC Ferries.
On 14 December, the commissioning ceremony took place of two, next-generation, Damen ASD Tugs 2813 delivered by Damen Shipyards to the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA).
The vessel will enter Finnlines' line between Finland and Sweden (Naantali–Långnäs–Kapellskär). Finncanopus is scheduled to start in traffic in February 2024.
