These two vessels will be the seventh and eighth of 12 new LNG carriers ordered by the joint venture company for QatarEnergy, the world’s largest LNG providers
The new 42-metre DP2 fast crew boats will support offshore energy support operations in the Caspian Sea, with construction now under way at Baku Shipyard.
The vessel will be chartered on a long-term basis (up to 20 years) to EDF LNG Shipping SAS for LNG transportation under the ship management of Gazocean.
