The first of over 825,000 Dutch households is now receiving clean electricity from the Borssele III/IV offshore wind project as first power is flowing to the Dutch grid.
Xodus Group has agreed a partnership with Japanese consultancy E&E Solutions to deliver in-depth advice and analysis for the fast-developing offshore wind market in Japan.
The offshore substation for the Arcadis Ost 1 wind farm, with a planned capacity of 247 megawatts, should be installed in 2022, followed by work for the grid connec-tion.
The project team, led by academics from the University of Hull, is working closely with Ørsted to help improve wave forecast modelling with direct industrial impact.
