The Barossa development consists of infield subsea infrastructure tied back to the centrally located floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel.
Located in water depths from 600 to 1,200 meters and about 150 kilometers from the Angolan coast, Zinia Phase 2 resources are estimated at 65 million barrels of oil.
The transpacific route segments off the west coast of North America have now been surveyed and the project will soon continue on the Indonesia segment through the Celebes and Java seas.
