Wintershall Dea, in collaboration with its partners DNO Norge and Equinor, has successfully completed the drilling of an appraisal well at the Bergknapp discovery in the Norwegian Sea.
Equinor has made a commercially viable gas discovery by the Gina Krog field in the North Sea. The discovery is small, but gas production can start as early as 2023.
